A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the powers and duties of fire marshals.

 

 

Be it enated by the Council as follows:

 

Section 1.  Section 15-117 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to read as follows:

§15-117  Members of force; police officers. 

[In the performance of their duties, the] The chief fire marshal, deputy chief fire marshals, supervising fire marshals and fire marshals shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of police officers in the state.

§2.  This local law shall take effect immediately.
