No. 300; 20035058 HKM; N 030047 HKM). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on July 25, 2002 a copy of its designation dated July 16, 2002 (the "Designation"), of the Time & Life Building, Ground Floor Interior, located at 1261-1277 Sixth Avenue, a.k.a. 101-133 West 50th Street, 100-130 West 51st Street, Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 1003/Lot 29 as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on September 25, 2002 its report on the Designation dated September 18, 2002 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on October 15, 2002; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation. _________ Adopted.
