A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring applicants of building permits to disclose home address and telephone number.
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 27-151 of article ten of subchapter one of chapter of title twenty-seven of the administrative code of the city of New York, is amended to read as follows:
§27-151 Applicant. Applications for permits shall be made by or in behalf of the owner of lessee of the buildings, and if made by a person other than the owner, the application shall be accompanies by a signed statement of the applicant declaring that he or she is authorized by the owner to make the application. The full names of the owner, lessee, and applicant, and principal officers thereof, if a corporation, shall be set forth in the application. In addition to the foregoing requirements whenever an application is made for a new building permit, the home addresses and telephone numbers of the owner, lessee, and applicant, and of the principal officers thereof, if a corporation, or of the partners, if a partnership, shall be set forth in the application.
§2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
