Prior to becoming a Councilmember, Oswald also served as an adjunct professor at Hostos Community College, where he had the privilege of teaching reading and writing to disadvantaged students in the Bronx. Oswald is a proud graduate of public schools in the Bronx, including P.S.46, M.S.45, Walton High School, Bronx Community College, and Lehman College. Eventually, he attended law school and obtained a law degree from CUNY School of Law. As Councilmember, Oswald is dedicated to improving his home of the Bronx. He is committed to ensuring that access to good schools, safe streets, and opportunity, is not determined based on the neighborhood that you live in.
