Torres  Whistleblower protections for individuals facing adverse personnel actions.IntroductionThis bill would expand whistleblower protections for individuals facing adverse personnel action as a result of cooperating with a Council oversight or legislative matter. Additionally, the Department of Investigation would be required to complete investigations of whistleblower determinations within 90 days of receiving allegations of adverse personnel actions. Finally, for allegations related to adverse actions taken by the Commissioner of Investigation or the Department of Investigation, the bill shifts responsibility for such investigations and determinations from the Commissioner of Investigation to the Corporation Counsel.Hearing Held by Committee  Action details Not available
