Levin  Requiring homeless shelters to post signs and distribute other materials relating to the shelter transfer appeals process.IntroductionThis legislation would require the Department of Homeless Services to create a sign and other relevant materials that inform residents of homeless shelters of their right to appeal any transfers between homeless shelters and related facilities, including the procedures for such transfer appeals and the department’s current transfer policy.
