Subject to appropriation, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) would be required to ensure that there are no less than 5 noise cameras in each borough. DEP would also be required to submit to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council, and to post on its website, an annual report on the program including the locations of the noise cameras, the number of violations detected, and any expenses incurred in connection with the program.
