Int 0173-2026 *Eric Dinowitz  Use of global positioning system coordinates for 311 complaints and service requests.IntroductionThis bill would require the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications to ensure that the 311 mobile application and website track and have the capability to accept global positioning service, also known as GPS, coordinates when customers are submitting complaints and service requests. This bill would also require that customers give their consent before the website or app can detect their real-time location, and that they have the ability to cease sharing their data or delete previously stored data from the website or app at any time.   Not available Not available
Int 0669-2026 *Nantasha M. Williams  Referring 311 non-emergency traffic condition complaints to the transportation bureau of the police department.IntroductionThis bill would require the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, through the NYC311 customer service center, to refer non-emergency traffic condition complaints and requests for service to the Transportation Bureau of the New York City Police Department for resolution.   Not available Not available
Int 0800-2026 *Lynn C. Schulman  Requiring the 311 customer service center to redirect requests for service or complaints to the appropriate agency.IntroductionThis bill would require the 311 customer service center (NYC311) to redirect requests for service or complaints to the agency with relevant jurisdiction. If an agency determines it does not have jurisdiction over a request for service or complaint, it must notify NYC311. Upon receiving the notification, NYC311 must reopen the request for service or complaint, reevaluate which agency has jurisdiction, forward the request or complaint to the appropriate agency, and notify the complainant of its action. Also, if an NYC311 complainant fills out a survey to reopen a request for service or complaint, NYC311 must follow similar processes to reevaluate agency jurisdiction; forward the request to reopen to the initial agency or reopen the request itself and forward the request for service or complaint to the correct agency, as appropriate; and notify the complainant of its action.   Not available Not available
