Introduction This bill adds the construction of a private street to be mapped to the list of activities that require a permit issued by the commissioner of Buildings. Currently, the New York City Construction Codes require such a permit when engaging in various construction activities including the construction, alteration, demolition, or change in the use or occupancy of a building or structure, or the installation, alteration or repair of its gas, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, or fire protection systems.
