No. 437-A | Guidance relating to the child care program permitting process. | Introduction | This bill would require the New York City (“City”) Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to provide guidance to prospective child care programs applying for a permit pursuant to Article 47 of the Health Code. The required guidance would include a visual representation of the permitting process and include information relating to any required license, approval, or permit from DOHMH or another agency, as well as the order in which licenses, approvals, or permits must be obtained. The bill would also require any guidance or updates to such guidance to be posted on relevant City websites in the designated citywide languages and submitted to the Mayor and the Council. | | |
