A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the City of New York, in relation to requiring the Fire Commissioner to send certain reports to the City Council.

 

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

 

Section 1.  Section FC 104 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as added by local law number 26 for the year 2008, is amended by adding a new section 104.13 to read as follows:

104.13 Reporting to the City Council. The commissioner shall send an electronic copy of any report regarding any fire or non-fire emergency that resulted in the death of a firefighter or civilian to the chairperson of the council’s fire and criminal justice services committee within twenty-four hours of the commissioner’s receipt of such report. 

§2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
