A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the display of the POW/MIA flag on all city buildings.

 

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

 

                     Section 1.  Subdivision c of section 2-103 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended to read as follows:

                     c. The American flag and the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) flag shall be displayed on all city-owned [or other] buildings occupied by any city department or institution of whatever character on all days of the year, excepting Sundays.

                     §2.                     This local law shall take effect one hundred eighty days after its enactment into law.
