A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the police department to submit reports to the city council concerning towed vehicles.

 

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

 

Section 1.  Subdivision a of section 14-150 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding new paragraph 8, to read as follows:

8.  A report of the number of automobiles, trucks, motorcycles or other vehicles towed or booted by the New York City Police Department.  Such report shall include the date, time, location and circumstances of any such towing or booting.

§2.  This local law shall become effective sixty days after its enactment into law.
