THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 476 Title Resolution disapproving the petition for a revocable consent for an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 647 Ninth Avenue, Manhattan (20025236 TCM; L.U. No. 224). Body By Council Members Katz and Avella WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation filed with the Council on July 24, 2002 its approval of the petition of Luna Rossa Restaurant, LLC, d/b/a Cascina, for a revocable consent to establish, maintain and operate an unenclosed sidewalk café located at 647 Ninth Avenue, Community District 4, Borough of Manhattan (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-226 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code"); WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-226(g) of the Administrative Code; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on September 5, 2002; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 20-226 of the Administrative Code, the Council disapproves the Petition.
