WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on August 3, 2000 its decision dated July 26, 2000 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, for the disposition of ten (10) city-owned properties pursuant to zoning, located at 400-2 East 8th Street (Block 377/Lot 35), 99 Avenue D (Block 377/Lot 43), 281 and 279 East 7th Street (Block 377/Lots 47 and 48), 723, 719-721 and 717 East 9th Street (Block 379/Lots 53, 54 and 56), 617-19 East 9th Street (Block 392/Lot 53), 231 and 227-25 East 3rd Street (Block 386/Lots 55 and 56), Borough of Manhattan (ULURP No. C 000074 PPM) (the "Application");
WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on September 6, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;
RESOLVED:
Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision, the Council disapproves the Decision.
