RESOLUTION NO. 1885

 

Resolution approving the site plan for an approximately 475-Seat Primary School Facility to be located at 8818 4th Avenue (Tax Block 6062, Tax Lots 31, 40, 41, 45 and 48), Borough of Brooklyn (Non-ULURP No. 20095203 SCK; Preconsidered L.U. No. 1030).

                          WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on March 13, 2009, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a new, approximately 475-Seat Primary School Facility, known as P.S. 264, Brooklyn, to be located at 8818 4th Avenue (Tax Block 6062, Tax Lots 31, 40, 41, 45 and 48), Borough of Brooklyn, Community Board No. 10, Borough of Brooklyn, Community School District No. 20 (the "Site Plan");

 

                         WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law;

 

                          WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on March 18, 2009;

 

                     WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on March 11, 2009 (SEQR Project Number 09-007); and

 

                           WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                     The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.

                                                                                                                                                        

                           Pursuant to Section 1732 of the Public Authorities Law, the Council approves the Site Plan.
