RESOLUTION NO. 1840

Resolution approving the petition for a revocable consent for an enclosed sidewalk café located at 93 Avenue B, Borough of Manhattan (20085198 TCM; L.U. No. 990).

WHEREAS, the Department of Consumer Affairs filed with the Council on January 30, 2009 its approval dated January 30, 2009 of the petition of El Sayed I Corp., d/b/a Horus Café, for a revocable consent to construct, maintain and operate an enclosed sidewalk café located at 93 Avenue B, Community District 3, Borough of Manhattan (the "Petition"), pursuant to Section 20-225 of the New York City Administrative Code (the "Administrative Code");

WHEREAS, the Petition is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 20-225(g) of the Administrative Code;

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Petition on February 23, 2009; and

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Petition;

RESOLVED:

                     Pursuant to Section 20-225 of the Administrative Code, the Council approves the Petition.
