RESOLUTION NO. 1041

 

Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the Nathaniel J. and Ann C. Wyeth House, located at 190 Meisner Avenue (Block 2268, Lot 180), Borough of Staten Island, Designation List No. 392, LP-2253 (L.U. No. 519; 20075540 HKR (N 070489 HKR).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on May 30, 2007, a copy of its designation dated May 15, 2007 (the "Designation"), of the Nathaniel J. and Ann C. Wyeth House, located at 190 Meisner Avenue, Community District 3, Borough of Staten Island, as a landmark and Block 2268, Lot 180, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on July 13, 2007 its report on the Designation dated July 11, 2007 (the "Report");

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on September 5, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;

 

RESOLVED:

 

Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
