RESOLUTION NO. 681
Resolution approving a motion to file an application submitted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, ULURP No. C 060526 HAK (L.U. No. 233; C 060526 HAK).

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on November 17, 2006 its decision dated November 15, 2006 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter and Article 16 of the General Municipal Law of New York State regarding:
a) the designation of property located at 7 Saratoga Avenue and 1510-1524 Broadway (Block 1489/Lots 6, 11-18), as an Urban Development Action Area (the "Area");
b) an Urban Development Action Area Project for such area (the "Project"); and
pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter for the disposition of such property to a developer to be selected by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (the "Disposition") to facilitate the development of a 2-story commercial building, tentatively known as Anchor Broadway Site 3, to be developed under the Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s ANCHOR Program (ULURP No. C 060526 HAK), Community District 16, Borough of Brooklyn (the "Application");
WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter;
WHEREAS, the Application and Decision are subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Article 16 of the General Municipal Law of New York State;
WHEREAS, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development ("HPD") submitted to the Council its recommendations regarding the Application on November 28, 2006;
WHEREAS, by letter dated January 2, 2007, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development withdrew the application.
RESOLVED:
The Council approves the motion to file pursuant to withdrawal in accord with Rules 6.40a and 11.80 of the Rules of the Council and Section 2-02(d) of the New York City Rules and Regulations.
