THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK

RESOLUTION NO. 668

 

Resolution approving a motion to file pursuant to withdrawal of the lease of a parcel of land on the Campus of Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center located at 760 Broadway (Block 1723/Lot 1), Brooklyn (20075154 HHK; L.U. No. 345).

 

By Council Members Katz and Lappin

 

                           WHEREAS, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, filed with the Council on November 28, 2006 notice of the Board of Directors’ authorization dated October 26, 2006 of the leasing agreement between the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and Comunilife of a parcel of land on the campus of Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center located at 760 Broadway (Block 1723/Lot 1) upon terms and conditions set forth in the Health and Hospitals Corporation resolution authorizing the leasing (the "Leasing"), Community District 2, Borough of Brooklyn;

 

                           WHEREAS, the Leasing is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act;

 

WHEREAS, by letter dated December 13, 2006 the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation withdrew the Lease.

 

RESOLVED:

 

                     The Council approves the motion to file pursuant to withdrawal of the application and pursuant to Rules 6.40a and 11.80 of the Rules of the Council.
