THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK

RESOLUTION NO. 381

 

Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 050371 PQK (L.U. No. 157), acquisition of property located at 783 Knickerbocker Avenue (Block 3413, Lot 6), Brooklyn, for use as a day care center.

 

By Council Members Katz and Lappin

 

                     WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 28, 2006 its decision dated April 26, 2006 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Administration for Children’s Services and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for the acquisition of property located at 783 Knickerbocker Avenue (Block 3413, Lot 6), Community District 4, Borough of Brooklyn (the "Site"), for continued use as a day care center (ULURP No. C 050371 PQK) (the "Application");

 

                           WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(2) and (3) of the City Charter;

 

                           WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on June 1, 2006; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                           Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and Decision, the Council approves the Decision.
