Democratic Commissioner of Elections
The Committee on Rules, Privileges and Elections respectfully reports:
Pursuant to § 3-204 of the New York State Election Law, the Committee on Rules, Privileges and Elections, hereby approves the appointment by the Council of GREGORY CHARLES SOUMAS, as the New York County Democratic Commissioner of Elections to serve for the remainder of a four-year term that began on January 1, 2005 and ends on December 31, 2008.
This matter was referred to the Committee on November 30, 2005.
