Title: Resolution determining that Proposed Int. Resolution determining that Proposed Int. No. 478-A, a Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to enacting the New York city plumbing code based on the 2003 edition of the International Plumbing Code published by the International Code Council and enacting administrative provisions applicable to such New York city plumbing code and to such other codes as may hereafter be enacted by the city based on the 2003 editions of the International Building Code, the International Fuel Gas Code, the International Mechanical Code and the International Residential Code, will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment.

      Whereas, Pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (Article 8 of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law) and regulations promulgated thereunder in 6 NYCRR Part 617 and in accordance with Executive Order No. 91 of August 24, 1977, as modified by the Rules of Procedure for City Environmental Quality Review (62 RCNY ยง 5-01, et seq.), the Council has evaluated the appropriate criteria to determine the environmental significance of Proposed Int. No. 478-A, a Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to enacting the New York city plumbing code based on the 2003 edition of the International Plumbing Code published by the International Code Council and enacting administrative provisions applicable to such New York city plumbing code and to such other codes as may hereafter be enacted by the city based on the 2003 editions of the International Building Code, the International Fuel Gas Code, the International Mechanical Code and the International Residential Code, will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment.; and
      Whereas, The attached Environmental Assessment Statement, including the attached Environmental Assessment Analysis of Int. No. 478-A, and Negative Declaration represent the findings and conclusions of the Council; now, therefore, be it
      Resolved, That the Council of the City of New York hereby determines that the enactment of Proposed Int. No. 478-A, will not have a significant adverse impact on the environment.
