RESOLUTION NO. 1187

 

Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the Robert and Anne Dickey House located at 67 Greenwich Street (Block 19, Lot 11), Manhattan, Designation List No. 365, LP-2166 (L.U. No. 576; 20065004 HKM; N 060005 HKM).

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on July 6, 2005 a copy of its designation dated June 28, 2005 (the "Designation"), of Robert and Anne Dickey House, located at 67 Greenwich Street, aka 28-30 Trinity Place, Community District 1, Borough of Manhattan, as a historic landmark and Block 19, Lot 11, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter;

 

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on August 29, 2005, its report on the Designation dated August 24, 2005 (the "Report");

 

WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on September 26, 2005; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation;

 

RESOLVED:

 

Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.

 

Adopted.
