RESOLUTION NO. 1050

 

Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 050170 GFM, for the grant of a revocable consent to construct and maintain thriteen informational kiosks on the sidewalk of the south side of West 65th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, Manhattan (L.U. No. 498).

                         WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on May 26, 2005 its decision dated May 25, 2005 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by Lincoln Center Development Project, Inc., for a revocable consent to construct and maintain thirteen informational kiosks on the sidewalk of the south side of West 65th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue, Block 1134, Lots 1 and 25, Community District 7, Borough of Manhattan (ULURP No. C 050170 GFM) (the "Application");

 

                           WHEREAS, the Application is related to Applications Numbers N 050169 ZRM (L.U. No. 496), an amendment to the text of the Zoning Resolution; C 050098 MMM (L.U. No. 497), an amendment to the City Map; and C 050219 PQM (L.U. No. 499), an acquisition of several easements;

 

                         WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;

 

                         WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on June 15, 2005;

 

WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on December 20, 2004 (CEQR No. 05DCP019M); and

 

                         WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

RESOLVED:

 

The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.

 

                         Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision, the Council approves the Decision.
