State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass a bill introduced by Senator Sabini S. 1246 and Assembly Member Lafayette A.2063, “An Act in relation to the control and stabilization of rents and rental agreements in certain retail commercial space in cities having a population of more than one million.”

Whereas a bill has been introduced in the New York State Legislature by Senator Sabini S. 1246 and Assembly Member Lafayette A.2063, “An ACT in relation to the control and stabilization of rents and rental agreements in certain retail commercial space in cities having a population of more than one million”; and

 

Whereas, the enactment of the above State Legislation requires the concurrence of the Council of the City of New York as the local legislative body; now, therefore be it

 

Resolved, that the Council of the City of New York, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of the Article 9 of the Constitution of the State of New York, does hereby request the New York State Legislature to enact into law the aforesaid pending bill.
