RESOLUTION NO. 585

 

 

Resolution approving with modification the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 040252 PQQ (L.U. No. 233), an acquisition of property located at 197-14 119th Avenue (Block 12653, Lot 6), Queens, for continued use as an agency operated boarding home.

                           WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on July 20, 2004 its decision dated July 14, 2004 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Administration for Children’s Services and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for an acquisition of property located at 197-14 119th Avenue (Block 12653, Lot 6), Community District 12, Borough of Queens (the "Site"), for continued use as an agency operated boarding home (ULURP No. C 040252 PQQ) (the "Application");

 

                           WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(2) and (3) of the City Charter;

 

                           WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on August 9, 2004; and

 

                           WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                           Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and Decision, the Council approves the Decision with the modification that the lease term shall be for a period no longer than five (5) years.
