THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK

RESOLUTION NO. 190

 

Resolution approving the leasing of a parcel of land located on the Kings County Hospital Center campus, Brooklyn (20045366 HHK; L.U. No. 78).

 

By Council Members Katz and Felder

 

                           WHEREAS, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, filed with the Council on January 29, 2004 notice of the Board of Directors authorization dated January 28, 2004 of the leasing agreement to Kings County Senior Residence, LLC of a parcel of land located on the Kings County Hospital Center campus located at 451 Clarkson Avenue (Block 4812/Lot 1) upon terms and conditions set forth in the Health and Hospitals Corporation resolution authorizing the leasing, a copy of which is attached hereto (the "Leasing");

 

                           WHEREAS, the Leasing is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act;

 

                           WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Leasing on February 23, 2004; and

 

                           WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use and financial implications and other policy issues relating to the Leasing;

 

RESOLVED:

 

                           Pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act, the Council approves the Leasing upon the terms and conditions set forth in the Board of Directors’ resolution authorizing the Leasing, a copy of which is attached hereto.
