THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1017 Title Resolution approving the leasing of real property consisting of two (2) parcels of land and buildings located on the Jacobi Medical Center Campus, the Bronx (20045022 HHX; L.U. No. 478). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, filed with the Council on July 18, 2003 notice of the Board of Directors authorization of the leasing to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University of two (2) parcels of land and buildings located on the Jacobi Medical Center campus, upon terms and conditions set forth in the Health and Hospitals Corporation resolution authorizing the lease, a copy of which is attached hereto (the "Lease"); WHEREAS, the Lease is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Lease on July 21, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use and financial implications and other policy issues relating to the Lease; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act, the Council approves the Lease and upon the terms and conditions set forth in the Board of Directors' resolution authorizing the Lease, a copy of which is attached hereto.
