THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 956 Title Resolution approving the acquisition of office space located at 215 Bay Street (Block 497/Lot 1), Staten Island (20035223 PXR; N 030458 PXR; L.U. No. 457). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on June 5, 2003 its approval dated June 4, 2003 of the notice of intent to acquire office space submitted pursuant to Section 195 of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, Division of Real Estate Services, for the acquisition of 13,000 square feet of office space in a building located at 215 Bay Street (Block 497/Lot 1), Community District 1, Borough of Staten Island, for use as offices by the Human Resources Administration's (HRA) Medical Assistance Program (the "Acquisition"); WHEREAS, the Acquisition is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 195(d) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Acquisition of June 17, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Acquisition; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.
