THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 858 Title Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the (Former) Childs' Restaurant Building located at 2102 Boardwalk, Brooklyn, Designation List No. 344, LP-2106 (L.U. No. 420; 20035183 HKK; N 030332 HKK). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on February 11, 2003 a copy of its designation dated February 4, 2003 (the "Designation"), of the (Former) Childs' Restaurant Building located at 2102 Boardwalk (a.k.a. 3052-3078 West 21st Street), Community District 13, Borough of Brooklyn, as a landmark and Block 7071, Lot 130, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on April 4, 2003, its report on the Designation dated April 2, 2003 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on April 28, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
