THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 789 Title Resolution approving the surrender of real property located on approximately the northern portion of the Queens Hospital Center campus, Queens (20035182 HHQ; L.U. No. 389). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, filed with the Council on February 24, 2003 notice of the Board of Directors authorization dated December 19, 2002 of the surrender to the City of New York of a parcel of land and buildings located on approximately the northern portion of the Queens Hospital Center campus, upon terms and conditions set forth in the Health and Hospitals Corporation resolution authorizing the surrender, a copy of which is attached hereto (the "Surrender"); WHEREAS, the Surrender is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Surrender on March 19, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use and financial implications and other policy issues relating to the Surrender; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 7385(6) of the Health and Hospitals Corporation Act, the Council approves the Surrender and upon the terms and conditions set forth in the Board of Directors' resolution authorizing the Surrender, a copy of which is attached hereto.
