THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 684 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 020033 MMQ, an amendment to the City Map (L.U. No. 336). Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on December 10, 2002 its decision dated December 4, 2002 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Sanitation, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter, for a change in the City Map involving, the elimination of a portion of Rockaway Community Park, the adjustment of grades necessitated thereby, and any acquisition or disposition of property related thereto, in accordance with Map No. 4950, dated May 30, 2002, and signed by the Borough President, Community District 14, Borough of Queens (ULURP No. C 020033 MMQ) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Applications Numbers C 020034 ZMQ (L.U. No. 335), an amendment to the Zoning Map and C 020035 PSQ (L.U. No. 337), a site selection of property; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on January 14, 2003; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on November 1, 2001 (CEQR No. 99DOS004Q); RESOLVED: _________ The Council finds the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. Pursuant to Sections 197-d and 199 of the New York City Charter, the Council approves the Decision. Adopted.
