THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 563 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 020633 HDK, for the disposition of city-owned property located at 148/50, 152 and 154 Buffalo Avenue and 1694 and 1696 Bergen Street (Block 1356/Lots 46-48, 23, and 24), Sites 2b and 2e), within the Crown Heights Urban Renewal Area, Brooklyn, (L.U. No. 286). Body By Council Members Katz and Martinez WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on September 26, 2002 its decision dated September 18, 2002 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development for the disposition of city-owned property located at 148/50, 152 and 154 Buffalo Avenue and 1694 and 1696 Bergen Street (Block 1356/Lots 46-48, 23, and 24), Sites 2b and 2e), within the Crown Heights Urban Renewal Area, Community District 8, Borough of Brooklyn, (ULURP No. C 020633 HDK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Applications Number C 020631 HUK (L.U. No. 284), amendment to an urban renewal plan; and C 020632 PSK (L.U. No. 285), a site selection of property; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Application and Decision on October 15, 2002; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on February 25, 2002, (CEQR No. 02HPD006K); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; ____________ Page 2 of 2 C 020633 HDK Res.
