THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 491 Title Resolution approving with modifications the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 020051 PPR, the disposition of seventeen (17) city-owned properties located at Lomaka Avenue (Block 4633/Lot 225), 187 Wiman Avenue (Block 5302/Lot 42), 37 Groton Street (Block 5316/Lot 65), Alverson Avenue (Block 6145/Lot 325), Kingdom Avenue and Stecher Street (Block 6563/Lots 30, 34, 42, 50, 52 and 62), Albourne Avenue (Lot 6861/Lot 43), Drumgoogle Road and Foster Road (Block 6912/Lots 90 and 92), Veterans Road East (Block 7066/Lot 140), Veterans Road West (Block 7089/Lot 30), Lucille Avenue (Block 7086/Lot 1) and Storer Avenue (Block 7315/Lot 82), Brooklyn (L.U. Body By Council Members Katz and Martinez WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on July 22, 2002 its decision dated July 10, 2002 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, for the disposition of seventeen (17) city-owned properties pursuant to zoning, located at Lomaka Avenue (Block 4633/Lot 225), 187 Wiman Avenue (Block 5302/Lot 42), 37 Groton Street (Block 5316/Lot 65), Alverson Avenue (Block 6145/Lot 325), Kingdom Avenue and Stecher Street (Block 6563/Lots 30, 34, 42, 50, 52 and 62), Albourne Avenue (Lot 6861/Lot 43), Drumgoogle Road and Foster Road (Block 6912/Lots 90 and 92), Veterans Road East (Block 7066/Lot 140), Veterans Road West (Block 7089/Lot 30), Lucille Avenue (Block 7086/Lot 1) and Storer Avenue (Block 7315/Lot 82), Community District 3, Borough of Staten Island (ULURP No. C 020051 PPR) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on August 6, 2002; and _________ Page 2 of 2 C 020051 PPR Res. No. 223) WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision the Council approves the Decision with the modifications that the properties located at 187 Wiman Avenue (Block 5302/Lot 42), Kingdom Avenue and Stecher Street (Block 6563/Lots 30, 34, 42, 50, 52 and 62), Albourne Avenue (Lot 6861/Lot 43), Veterans Road East (Block 7066/Lot 140), Veterans Road West (Block 7089/Lot 30), Lucille Avenue (Block 7086/Lot 1) and Storer Avenue (Block 7315/Lot 82), are deleted.
