THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 415 Title Resolution approving the motion to file pursuant to withdrawal an application submitted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, ULURP No. C 010354 HAK, a proposed designation of property located at 2927 West 37th Street, Site 9B, within the Coney Island I Urban Renewal Area (Block 7045/part of Lot 1), Brooklyn, as an Urban Development Action Area, a proposed project for the area as an Urban Development Action Area Project, and a proposed disposition of such property to a developer to be selected by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (L.U. No. 138; C 010354 HAK). Body By Council Members Katz and Martinez WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on June 6, 2002 its decision dated May 29, 2002 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter and Article 16 of the General Municipal Law of New York State regarding: a) the designation of property located at 2927 West 37th Street, Site 9B, within the Coney Island I Urban Renewal Area (Block 7045/part of Lot 1), Brooklyn, as an Urban Development Action Area (the "Area"); b) an Urban Development Action Area Project for such area (the "Project"); and pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter for the disposition of such property to a developer to be selected by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development to facilitate the development of an ambulance station, Community District 13, Borough of Brooklyn (the "Disposition") (ULURP No. C 010354 HAK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 62 Section 2-02(d) of the Rules of the City of New York by memorandum dated July 18, 2002, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development withdrew the application; _________ Page 2 of 2 C 010354 HAK Res.
