THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 303 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 020079 PSQ (L.U. No. 167), for site selection of property located at 303 Beach 49th Street (Block 15840/Lot 1), for use as a fire and ambulance station. Body By Council Members Katz and Felder WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 9, 2002 its decision dated April 3, 2002 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Fire Department and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for site selection of property located at 303 Beach 49th Street (Block 15840/Lot 1), Borough of Queens (the "Site") for use as a fire and ambulance station, (ULURP No. C 020079 PSQ) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application Number C 020078 ZSQ (L.U. No. 168), special permit pursuant to Section 74-67 of the Zoning Resolution; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on May 14, 2002; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on June 21, 2001 (CEQR Number 01CFD007Q); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: _________ Page 2 of 2 C 020079 PSQ Res. No. 167) The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and Decision, the Council approves the Decision.
