State Legislation Resolution No. 64 Title State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass bills introduced by Senator Trunzo, S.6242, and Assembly Member Eddington, et al, A.5910-A, "AN ACT to amend chapter 769 of the laws of 1975, relating to membership in public retirement systems or pension plans for certain persons employed in transitional public employment service, in relation to credit for such transitional employment". Body By Council Members Baez, Comrie and Seabrook Whereas, bills have been introduced in the New York State Legislature by Senator Trunzo, S.6242, and Assembly Member Eddington, et al, A.5910-A, "AN ACT to amend chapter 769 of the laws of 1975, relating to membership in public retirement systems or pension plans for certain persons employed in transitional public employment service, in relation to credit for such transitional employment"; and Whereas, the enactment of the above State Legislation requires the concurrence of the Council of the City of New York as the local legislative body; now, therefore, be it Resolved, that the Council of the City of New York, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of Article 9 of the Constitution of the State of New York, does hereby request the New York State Legislature to enact into law the aforesaid pending bills.
