THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 31 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on Application No. N 020046 ZRK, an amendment to the text of the Zoning Resolution regarding Article XII, Chapter 3 (Special Mixed Use District) specifying a Special Mixed Use District (MX-5) in Red Hook (L.U. No. 63). Body By Council Members Katz and Avella WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on January 3, 2002 its decision dated December 19, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the Economic Development Corporation and the Beard Street Warehouse, Inc., pursuant to Section 201 of the New York City Charter, for an amendment to the text of the Zoning Resolution (Application No. N 020046 ZRK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Applications C 020047 ZMK (L.U. No. 62), an amendment to the Zoning Map; C 020048 PPK (L.U. No. 64), disposition of city-owned property; and C 020049 ZSK (L.U. No. 65), a special permit pursuant to Section 74-922; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(1) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on January 25, 2002; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on August 9, 2001 (CEQR No. 00DME013); RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; __________ Page 2 of 2 N 020046 ZRK Reso.
