THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 2110 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 010381 PPM, for the disposition to the Economic Development Corporation of city-owned property located within Marginal Street, Wharf or Place at the East River between East 20th and East 23rd Streets, Manhattan (L.U. No. 1206). Body By Council Members Eisland and Linares WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on October 9, 2001 its decision dated September 25, 2001 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Business Services and the Economic Development Corporation, pursuant to zoning, for the disposition of city-owned property located within Marginal Street, Wharf or Place at the East River between East 20th and East 23rd Streets, Community District 6, Borough of Manhattan (ULURP No. C 010381 PPM) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application number C 010382 ZMM (L.U. No. 1205), an amendment to the Zoning Map; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on October 25, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on May 16, 2000 (CEQR No. 00DME006M); RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.
