THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 2076 Title Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of the German-American Shooting Society Clubhouse located at 12 St. Mark's Place, Manhattan, Designation List No. 328, LP-2094 (L.U. No. 1168; 20025004 HKM; N 020007 HKM). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on July 5, 2001 a copy of its designation dated June 26, 2001 (the "Designation"), of the German-American Shooting Society Clubhouse (Deutsche-Amerikanische Schutzen Gesellschaft) located at 12 St. Mark's Place, Borough of Manhattan as a landmark and Block 463, Lot 15 as its landmark site, pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on August 16, 2001 its report on the Designation dated August 8, 2001 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on October 2, 2001; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
