THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1908 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Intermediate School 93-Manhattan (I.S. 93-M) generally located at 501-503 West 152nd Street, Manhattan (Non-ULURP No. 20015296 SCM; L.U. No. 1082). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on April 25, 2001, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a public school facility known as Intermediate School 93-Manhattan (I.S. 93-M), with a capacity of up to 413 seats to serve Community School District 6, generally located at 501-503 West 152nd Street (a.k.a. 1866 Amsterdam Avenue) (Block 2084/Lot 29 in portion), Borough of Manhattan (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on May 1, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on March 6, 2001 (SCA Project Number 01-008); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ________ Page 2 of 2 20015296 SCM Reso.
