THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1904 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 000496 MMK, an amendment to the City Map (L.U. No. 958). Body By Council Members Eisland and Linares WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 17, 2001 its decision dated April 11, 2001 (the "Decision"), on the application submitted by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, pursuant to Sections 197-c and 199 of the New York City Charter and Section 5-430 et seq. of the New York City Administrative Code, for an amendment to the City Map involving the elimination, discontinuance and closing of a portion of Clymer Street, from the southwesterly line of Bedford Avenue to a point 90.00 feet southwesterly therefrom, the adjustment of grades necessitated thereby, and any acquisition or disposition of real property related thereto, Community District 1, Borough of Brooklyn, in accordance with Map No. X-2644, dated September 28, 2000 and signed by the Borough President (ULURP No. C 000496 MMK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Applications Number C 000495 HUK (L.U. No. 957), an urban renewal plan amendment and C 000497 HAK (L.U. 959), an urban development action area designation and project and the disposition of city-owned property; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on May 1, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative declaration, issued on December 10, 1999 (CEQR No. 00HPD006K); __________ Page 2 of 2 C 000496 MMK Reso.
