THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1800 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 000675 GFM, for a revocable consent to construct and maintain two informational kiosks on the sidewalk in front of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum located at 1071 5th Avenue on the east side of the street between 88th and 89th Streets, Manhattan (L.U. No. 994). Body By Council Members Eisland and McCaffrey WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on February 9, 2001 its decision dated January 31, 2001 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum for a revocable consent to construct and maintain two informational kiosks on the sidewalk in front of the Museum located at 1071 5th Avenue on the east side of the street between 88th and 89th Streets, Borough of Manhattan (ULURP No. C 000675 GFM) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on March 7, 2001; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on August 18, 2000 (CEQR No. 01DOT001M); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. ________ Page 2 C 000675 GFM Reso.
