A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, to mandate the presence of the American Flag at every parade held within the City, and to have it prominently displayed at the beginning of each parade.
 
 
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1.  Section 2-103 of the administrative code of the city of New York is hereby amended as follows:
§ 2-103  Official city flag and display of American flag.
d.  The American flag shall be displayed in full-view at the beginning of every parade held in the city; the flag may be displayed separately or with other flags displayed at the beginning of the parade.
§2.  This local law shall become effective immediately.
