THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1558 Title Resolution affirming the designation by the Landmarks Preservation Commission of Public School 166, located at 132 West 89th Street, Manhattan, Designation List No. 316, LP-2072 (L.U. No. 839; 20015011 HKM; N 010011 HKM). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the Landmarks Preservation Commission filed with the Council on July 7, 2000 a copy of its designation dated June 27, 2000 (the "Designation"), of Public School 166 located at 132 West 89th Street (aka 122-168 West 89th Street), Borough of Manhattan, as a landmark and Block 1219, Lot 47, as its landmark site pursuant to Section 3020 of the New York City Charter; WHEREAS, the Designation is subject to review by the Council pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter; WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission submitted to the Council on August 30, 2000 its report on the Designation dated August 23, 2000 (the "Report"); WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Designation on September 18, 2000; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Designation; RESOLVED: Pursuant to Section 3020 of the City Charter, and on the basis of the information and materials contained in the Designation and the Report, the Council affirms the Designation.
