THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1542 Title Resolution approving the site plan for the Magen David Yeshiva (PS 600) - Brooklyn, located at 50 Avenue P, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn (Non-ULURP No. 20005056 SCK; L.U. No. 850). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on August 29, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a 600 seat school facility known as the Magen David Yeshiva to accommodate students in kindergarten through 8 grades, to be located at 50 Avenue P, Bensonhurst (Block 6618/Lots 1, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62 and 63), Borough of Brooklyn (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on September 6, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Conditional Negative Declaration issued December 23, 1999 (SCA Project Number 99-013); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ______________ Page 2 of 2 20005056 SCK Reso.
