THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1404 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 000231 HDX, for the disposition of city-owned property located at 830-50 E. 149th Street (Block 2592/Lot 65), the Bronx, within the Mott Haven East Urban Renewal (L.U. No. 636). Body By Council Members Eisland and Linares WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 24, 2000 its decision dated April 18, 2000 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development for the disposition of city-owned property, within the Mott Haven East Urban Renewal Area located at 830-50 E. 149th Street (Block 2582/Lot 65), Borough of the Bronx (ULURP No. C 000231 HDX) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application number C 000230 HUX (L.U. No. 635), an urban renewal plan amendment; WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Application and Decision on May 31, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on July 6, 1999 (CEQR No. 99HPD10X); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; ____________ Page 2 of 2 C 000231 HDX Reso.
