THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1390 Title Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 990037 PSK (L.U. No. 773), a site selection of city-owned property located at 243/253 South Second Street (Block 2408, Lots 30 and 32), Brooklyn, for use as a day care center. Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on April 24, 2000 its decision dated April 18, 2000 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Administration for Children's Services and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services for site selection of city-owned property located at 243/253 South Second Street (Block 2408, Lots 30 and 32), Borough of Brooklyn (the "Site"), for use as a day care center (ULURP No. C 990037 PSK) (the "Application"); WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on May 18, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration issued on September 1998 and revised on November 3, 1999 (CEQR No. 99HRA001K); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment. ______________ Page 2 of 2 C 990037 PSK Reso.
