THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK RESOLUTION NO. 1389 Title Resolution approving the site plan for Public School 28-Queens (P.S. 28-Q), an early childhood center, to be located at 111th Street and 47th Avenue (Block 2003, Lots 23, 33, 35, 36, 47, 49, 51, 53, 54 and 56), Queens (Non-ULURP No. 20005211 SCQ; L.U. No. 772). Body By Council Members Eisland and Sabini WHEREAS, the New York City School Construction Authority submitted to the Council on May 11, 2000, a site plan pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law for a public school facility known as P.S. 28-Q, an early childhood center, with a capacity of up to 400 seats to be located at 111th Street and 47th Avenue (Block 2003, Lots 23, 33, 35, 36, 47, 49, 51, 53, 54 and 56), in Community School District 24, Borough of Queens (the "Site Plan"); WHEREAS, the Site Plan is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 1732 of the New York State Public Authorities Law; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Site Plan on May 16, 2000 and recessed until May 18, 2000; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Conditional Negative Declaration issued April 10, 2000 (SCA Project Number 00-009); and WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Site Plan; RESOLVED: The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment; and ______________ Page 2 of 2 20005211 SCQ Reso.
